Railcars 6 to 9 of the Steglitz tram were put into operation in 1912. After they received a major renovation in 1925, they were run as type TF 12/25 from 1934 according to the type code of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe .

development

The cars were in 1912 for the extension of the tram from the station Steglitz to Teltowkanal when Gottfried Lindner AG in Ammendorf procured. In contrast to their predecessors, these cars already had closed entry platforms . As was initially customary in Steglitz, electricity was drawn using the Lyrabügel.

In 1921, with the transition to the Berlin tram , the cars were given pantographs and the new car numbers 4311–4314. In 1925 they received the Berlin standard platforms .

After the Second World War, the four railcars remained with BVG-West and were removed from passenger service around 1950. The railcars 4311 and 4313 were then used as working railcars A290 and A41 until around 1960 and then retired.
