The Baalsrudfjellet is a 835 m high mountain in northeastern Fimbulheimen in East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises east of the Lingetoppane .
Norwegian scientists named him after Lieutenant Jan Baalsrud (1917–1988), a resistance fighter against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
