The Babcock-BSH AG was a mechanical engineering and plant construction -Unternehmen in Krefeld - Uerdingen .
With effect from January 8, 1970, the merger of Büttner-Werke AG, Uerdingen , with Schilde AG , Bad Hersfeld , created a corporate group, Büttner-Schilde-Haas Aktiengesellschaft, Krefeld-Uerdingen. The majority of the shares were held by Deutsche Babcock & Wilcox AG , Oberhausen. In 1977 the company name ( company ) was changed to Babcock-BSH AG .
In October 2002 Grenzebach Maschinenbau GmbH, Asbach-Bäumenheim, took over Babcock-BSH GmbH in Bad Hersfeld from the insolvency estate of Babcock-Borsig AG . Under the name Grenzebach BSH GmbH, with around 400 employees, the production program in the wood and building materials sector as well as in the process engineering area will be continued at the Bad Hersfeld location. The company is based in the buildings, some of which still come from Schilde AG.
Babcock-BSH AG, Krefeld, (registered office) was closed on March 31, 2003.
