Bablon Island (English; Bulgarian остров Баблон ostrow Bablon ) is a southeast-northwestern extension 1.15 km long, 0.4 km wide and ice-free island off the Graham coast of Graham land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located off the west coast of the Barison Peninsula or in the approach from Leroux Bay to Macrobius Cove and is separated from Eijkman Point to the south by a 200 m wide strait .
British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the town of Bablon in southern Bulgaria .
