The Leroux Bay ( French Baie Leroux ) is a bay with northwest-southeast extension of the Graham Coast of the West Antarctic Graham Lands . It lies between Nuñez Point and the Magnier Peninsula , which is dominated by the Magnier Peaks .
It was discovered during the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903-1905) under the direction of the polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot . He named the bay after Eugenio Leroux, captain of the Argentine Navy. Participants in the British Graham Land Expedition (1934-1937) led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill carried out a survey of the bay in 1935.
