The Magnier Peninsula ( Spanish Península Magnier ) is a peninsula on the Graham Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It separates Leroux Bay from Bigo Bay .
Chilean scientists used the name, which is apparently derived from that of the Magnier Peaks towering on the peninsula . Its namesake is possibly a sponsor of the Fifth French Antarctic Expedition (1908-1910) under the direction of the polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot .
