Babonneau
Babonneau is one of the regions in the Caribbean island state of St. Lucia .
geography
The region is located in the mountainous heart of the island, in the northwest, in the border area of the Quarter (districts) Castries , Gros Islet and Dauphin . It also borders the local areas of Plateau , Garrand , Fond Assau , Girard Cacoa , Cabiche and Balata . The landscape of the area is characterized by the foothills of the mountains of Plateau in the north. There are road links to Castries and Marquis . There are several tourist offers on site that let you experience the fauna and flora of the rainforest, including a cable car.
religion
Babonneau is known, among other things, because it is the seat of the Kélé religion. There is also a Catholic Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd and other churches ( Babonneau Pentecostal Church , Amethyst Garrand SDA Church , La Croix Evangelical Church ).
