The Babulo ( Indonesian Gunung Babulo ) is an East Timorese mountain in Suco Babulo (administrative office Uato-Lari , municipality of Viqueque ). It lies east of the Bebui River and is 265  m high .

history

After Xanana Gusmão took office as the new Prime Minister after the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007 , there was unrest, sparked by supporters of the defeated FRETILIN party . An unknown number of people fled their homes to Mount Babulo to seek refuge there.
