Baby Beach is a bathing beach in San Nicolas on the southeastern end of the island of Aruba . It is characterized by a spacious, gently sloping sandy beach that is used by locals and tourists.
History and Development
There was a closed housing estate here , which the US executives of the American Oil Company's Lago refinery and their families called “Colony” and inhabited until 1984.
In addition to roads, the beach is also accessible through a bus stop operated by the public transport company Arubus .
In March 2014, the government of Aruba announced that it would provide funds to improve the infrastructure from the Fondo de Mejoración del Producto Aruba (TPEF). Together with tax incentives, the aim is to promote tourism in San Nicolás, whose catchment area Baby Beach belongs to.
About 1.5 kilometers northeast is the Seroe Colorado lighthouse , which marks the boundary between the open Atlantic and the more protected Caribbean side of the island.
