Bacelo is a former municipality ( freguesia ) of the Portuguese city of Évora . The community had 9233 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
In the course of the local reorganization of Portugal after the local elections on September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Bacelo and Senhora da Saúde were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Bacelo e Senhora da Saúde . Bacelo is the official seat of this newly formed community.
