The Badeparadies Schwarzwald is a leisure and adventure pool with a sauna area in Titisee-Neustadt .

history

Swimming paradise under construction (2010)

The bath was built by the entrepreneur and “bath king” Josef Wund . Initial discussions on this were held in 2002. In the course of the construction work in 2009 was the former substation of Höllentalbahn demolished.

After a year and a half of construction, the pool was opened on December 11, 2010. The construction costs amounted to 37 million euros. It was subsidized by the state with EUR 1 million and the district with EUR 1.75 million, and the ten member communities of the Upper Black Forest Association, consisting of Breitnau , Eisenbach , Feldberg , Friedenweiler , Hinterzarten , Lenzkirch , Löffingen , Schluchsee , St. Märgen and Titisee-Neustadt , with 14 million euros.

On November 7, 2011, 500,000 bathers were already counted. Extensions have been made since 2015. First, a relaxation area and a quadruple slide were built. In December 2017, the 5000 m² Palais Vital spa area, created with an investment of 32 million euros, was opened.

Furnishing

The bathroom consists of three areas:

Palm oasis

This area with 3700 m² is characterized by 200 real palm trees. There are massage jets and bubble beds at the pool edges. A passage with a revolving door leads to an outdoor pool in the water. A cocktail bar is integrated in the pool. There are also heated loungers and a steam bath. There is a restaurant within the pool. The roof is transparent and can be opened on warm days. The water temperature is 33 ° C. This area is only accessible to people aged 16 and over.

The palm oasis also includes the “Black Forest Fog” steam bath and the “Springs of Health”, four mineral pools.

Galaxy

In this area with an area of ​​4500 m² there is a right-angled pool that is used as a wave pool and can also function as a 25-meter sports pool. A section with a depth of 3.60 m offers opportunities to jump from a height of one or three meters. The water temperature is approx. 28 ° C.

Furthermore, there is a large slide landscape with 23 water slides , including the largest stainless steel “halfpipe” in the world according to the operator and the longest quadruple mat slide in Germany (“Galaxy Racer”), which was inaugurated in August 2015. A 700 m² extension with palm trees serves as a family relaxation area. A range of restaurants is also available in the “Galaxy”.

Palais Vital

This area is located in the area that was newly opened at the end of 2017 and is textile-free. The following saunas are offered:
