Badhaus (Volkach)
The bath house in Volkach , a town in the Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen ( Bavaria ), was built around 1450. The former bathhouse at Badgasse 4 is a protected architectural monument .
description
The two-story cripple hipped roof building with a gate on the ground floor is one of the oldest houses in the region. The painting of the compartments is marked with the year 1596. The solid wood ceilings, completely without space, from the time of construction have been preserved.
The owners Ulrike and Mario Pierl received the monument protection medal of the Free State of Bavaria in 2012 for the exemplary renovation of the monument.
