Baek In-chul
Baek In-chul (* 20th December 1961 in Seoul , South Korea ) is a former boxer in the super middleweight and world champion of the association WBA .
Career
He won his first 26 fights all by classic knockout. In his 14 fight he got the vacant OPBF belt and then defended it five times. On May 19, 1983, the American Sean Mannion took this title from him. However, he was able to fight for it again in July of the same year.
In November 1987 he boxed against Julian Jackson for the first time for the WBA world title and failed by TKo in round 3. The following year he again competed against Park Chong-pal for the WBA World Championship. This time In-chul was able to secure the title by defeating his opponent in the 11th round with a technical knockout. He was able to defend this title twice.
