The Bahnbetriebswerk (Bw) Röblingen am See was on the Halle – Hann railway line. Münden and existed from 1876 to 1992.

The section from Halle (Saale) to Eisleben on the Halle-Casseler Railway, where the small town of Röblingen am See - formerly Oberröblingen am See - is located, was opened on September 1, 1865. As early as 1872, the Prussian State Railroad was forced to set up a sliding locomotive station there due to the incline between Oberröblingen am See and Sangerhausen .

After four years of construction, the facilities were put into operation in 1876 with a three-tier locomotive shed and two locomotives. Mainly steam locomotives of the types T 3 , T 9.2, T 9.3, T 12, T 14 , T 16 , T 16.1 , Prussian and Baden G12 as well as the series 03.2 , 23.10 , 44.0 , 50.0 , 52.1 , 52.80 , 58.30 , 83.10 and 86 stationed. On April 2, 1973, the first large diesel locomotive in the form of the 131 009 came to the depot. The locomotives of these series were based here until the department was closed. Other diesel locomotives of the series 101 , 106 , 110 , 111 and 112 were based here in different numbers . In 1992, the Röblingen am See depot was dissolved as an independent department and placed under the Halle G depot . In 1997 the operation finally ended and the depot was closed. The track systems are largely dismantled. The building fabric was still easy to see until September 2007 and was reminiscent of over 120 years of railway tradition in Röblingen am See. In October 2007 the structures were demolished.
