Christoph Henkel

Christoph Henkel (born February 11, 1958 in Düsseldorf ) is a German entrepreneur. He is the son of Konrad and Gabriele Henkel .

Christoph Henkel, the largest Henkel -Einzelaktionär is the Shareholders' Committee of Henkel, the main supervisory body of the family company since 1991. Member.

Since 1994, he has co-founded various companies into which he has contributed funding and experience as a business angel .

Christoph Henkel is chairman of the Konrad Henkel Foundation founded by his father Konrad. He supports numerous research and teaching projects, especially together with the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. He is also involved with the Dr. Jost Henkel Foundation, which awards grants to outstanding students and doctoral candidates. In 2006 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the economics faculty of the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf for his commitment .

According to the 2015 list of The World's Billionaires, Christoph Henkel's assets are around 1.7 billion US dollars. Accordingly, he ranks 1,118 on this list of the richest people in the world and 71 in Germany.
