A steam train of the Zürcher-Museum-Bahn (ZMB) runs sporadically on the last Sunday of the month , but without a stop in Adliswil due to the urgent train crossing and compliance with the tight schedule with S-Bahn 4 in Leimbach.

New bus station in Adliswil

The bus stops at Adliswil train station no longer meet the requirements of road users and the legal requirements for disabled people. A new bus station is therefore to be built. The centerpiece is four roofed retaining edges for the bus routes from SZU (Sihltal-Zürich-Uetliberg-Bahn) and VBZ (Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich).

According to the statistics, the project for a new bus station with an extension to the underground car park “Florastrasse” was approved in a referendum on September 23, 2018.

The bus station will be built from autumn 2019 and will be operational from the 2020/2021 timetable change.
