The Feldbach station is a railway junction in the town of Feldbach in Eastern Styria and system maintenance of all passing there passenger trains. It is connected to the Styrian S-Bahn network by the S3 line. The station connects from Bad Gleichenberg coming Gleichenberger train , by the Steiermarkbahn is operated by the solid Styrian Ostbahn ÖBB. In 2019, the station took fourth place in the VCÖ rail test among the best-rated small stations.
Investments
The station has five main tracks, including three with a platform, two continuous sidings and several supporting tracks . The large, blue reception building is manned from morning to evening and also houses a ticket counter, which is open from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. There is a ticket machine on platform 2/3 for people who want to purchase tickets outside of these times. There is a large, renovated parking lot on the side of the reception building. There is no track-free access to platform 1. In contrast to Mittelbahnsteig 2/3, which can be reached through an underpass, it is also not barrier-free. The underpass leads under the tracks to the other side, where there is also a large, modern park and ride car park.

Freight transport
There is a large gravel loading point at Feldbach train station. Up to 20 wagons are filled here every day, which bring the ballast to various railway construction sites in Austria. During the construction of the Koralm Railway , the destination of most ballast trains is Wettmannstätten .
From time to time, some pressurized gas tank cars from Bad Gleichenberg are parked in Feldbach station. These are then put into a freight train to Graz.
In contrast to many other train stations in Eastern Styria, such as Fürstenfeld or Fehring , there is no timber loading .
