Gdańsk Główny - until 1945 Gdansk Central Station - is the most important passenger station in the Polish city of Gdańsk (Danzig) and the Tricity region . The station was built from 1896 to 1900 in the neo-renaissance style, but in 1945 it was set on fire and destroyed. After the Second World War it was rebuilt in its original style.

The train station is in downtown Gdańsk, west of the old town . It is the hub of inner-city traffic. Various tram and bus lines serve him, including the 210 bus to the airport . The central bus station is also nearby and can be reached via an underpass.

According to the classification of the Polish State Railways , it is classified in the highest station category A. It is a long-distance stop on the Warsaw – Danzig and Danzig – Stargard routes . In addition, the SKM trains stop at the station.

It has two long-distance platforms, each with two tracks, as well as several head platforms from the north, where local trains to Gdynia begin.
