The Lille-Europe station ( French : Gare de Lille-Europe ) is a through station in Lille . It is mainly used by the Eurostar and TGV high-speed trains , but regional trains also serve.

The station was built in 1993 as an en-route stop for international trains to the UK and Belgium, as well as domestic TGV trains. However, trains on the Paris - Lille TGV line end at Lille-Flandres station .
