The Neumarkt-Kallham station is a junction station in the town of Neumarkt in Hausruckkreis in Upper Austria . It is located in km 29.729 of the Wels – Passau railway line and is the starting point of the Innkreisbahn via Ried im Innkreis to Simbach am Inn and the Linz Local Railway (LILO).

The station was opened in 1861 as a through station on the Passau Railway. With the start of operations on the Innkreisbahn in 1870, it became a branch station. In 1908 the Linz local railway to Waizenkirchen was opened. From 2008 to 2010 the station was completely renovated and rebuilt for 53 million euros. The innovations include a park-and-ride facility with 250 parking spaces. The LILO, which until then stopped at the station forecourt, was introduced into the station.

In 2016, the station took 8th place among the best-rated small stations in the VCÖ railway test.

The station has a house platform with butt track of the LILO (platform 11) and a track of the Passau Railway (platform 1) as well as two covered island platforms with a length of 225 m (platform 2/3) and 160 m (platform 4/5).

In addition to the connection to the communities of Neumarkt and Kallham , the station is an important regional junction due to the meeting of three railway lines, at which long-distance trains on the way from Passau to Vienna used to stop. Today regional express and regional trains from Linz main station to Passau main station , regional trains to Simbach am Inn and LILO trains to Niederspaching and Peuerbach stop here . Around 2500 passengers frequent the station every day (as of 2010).
