The Satteldorf station is an operating point on the Crailsheim – Königshofen railway line . It is located in Satteldorf in the Schwäbisch Hall district in Baden-Württemberg .
history
On October 23, 1869, the Royal Württemberg State Railways opened the station with the Crailsheim - Mergentheim section .
The reception building is now privately owned. A mechanical signal box is housed in the building, from which the points and form signals of the station are set via double-wire cables. The Satteldorf train station has been used for passenger traffic again since September 10, 2007, after no passenger trains had stopped there for 22 years.
The depot of the construction company Leonhard Weiss has a siding at the train station .
Monument protection
The former station building on Am Bahnhof 5 is a listed building and is part of the Bad Mergentheim – Crailsheim railway line: Württemberg Taubertal Railway with stations, ancillary buildings, bridges, track systems and all stationary and movable accessories.
