Siniju station area

The Sinuiju Station (신의 주역) or Sinuiju Chongnyon is the railway station in the North Korean border town of Sinuiju in the province of North Pyongan . The station went into operation on April 3, 1906 . The facilities were destroyed during the Korean War and then rebuilt. It is the last stop for trains traveling over the Friendship Bridge towards Dandong ( People's Republic of China ). The P'yŏngŭi Line connects Sinŭiju with the capital Pyongyang . Kim Il-sung Square is right next to the train station .
