The Tychy station is the largest station of the Upper Silesian town of Tychy ( Tychy ) in Poland . The station is also served by trains of the Szybka Kolej Regionalna w Aglomeracji Górnośląskiej ( regional high-speed railway in the Upper Silesian agglomeration ). The station has three platforms with two tracks each, two of which are covered. Of the depot that used to be there, only the water tower still exists today. Although this is no longer used, it is in good structural condition. In addition to the train station, there are five other stops in Tychy : Tychy Żwaków , Tychy Zachodnie , Tychy Bielska , Tychy Grota-Roweckiego and Tychy Lodowisko .
The following railway companies use the station: Przewozy Regionalne , PKP Intercity and Koleje Śląskie .
The reception building was refurbished in October 2010 and is leased by the City of Tychy until 2039. The city police moved into the building. The renovation of the tunnel and the platforms is planned.
In 2014 the bus and trolleybus station was rebuilt.
In 2015, the construction of a Park & Ride area was completed.
