Zakopane Railway Station is the railway station is a terminus in the Polish city of Zakopane . On the railway line Chabówka-Zakopane is Krakow's main train station and the Katowice Central Station within about two hours a day. The station was opened in 1899. It is not to be confused with the former seat of the Polish Tatra Society , which is called the Tatra Railway Station .

The train station is located on the eastern edge of Zakopane city center. It is the only train station in the city.
Transport links
From the train station, bus lines of the Zakopan municipal utilities and private minibuses to the Zakopan districts and to the entrances to the Tatra National Park leave. There are also long-distance buses to many cities in southern Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
