The Piacenza – Cremona railway is a railway line in Italy . It is operated by RFI , the infrastructure branch of the national railway company FSI .

history

The route was planned after the First World War to create a better connection in the east-west direction. It was officially opened on October 28, 1933.

In 2001 the line was electrified with a 3 kV overhead line.
