The Sainschand – Dsüünbajan railway is part of the Mongolian railway network .
Geographical location
The railway branches off in Sainschand from the Trans-Mongolian Railway in a westerly direction and currently ends (2020) in Dsüünbajan . It is about 50 km long.

The route is to be extended by 414 km to Tawan Tolgoi in order to facilitate the removal of the coal extracted there . High-ranking representatives of the Mongolian Railway and the Russian Railway signed an agreement on technical advice on December 3, 2019 in the presence of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Anatolyevich Medvedev .
