The Bahrain International 2008 Badminton took place from December 1st to 6th, 2008 in Manama .
In 2002, a tournament called the Bahrain Satellite took place in the Gulf State, which was continued in 2007. In 2008, as in the previous year , there was a German victory when Nicole Grether won the women's doubles with Charmaine Reid from Canada.
