Bahrain International 2007
The Bahrain International 2007 in badminton took place in February 2007 in Manama .
In 2002 a tournament called the Bahrain Satellite took place in the Gulf State, which was to be continued in June 2006 as Bahrain International in Manama . The date was finally moved to February 20-23, 2007. Apart from the Asian Games, it was the first badminton tournament of this size in the Gulf States. It was classified as an “International Series” (Level 4) by the BWF and should take place annually from then on. At the first edition as Bahrain International, the Germans Jochen Cassel and Thomas Tesche won the men's doubles title.
