The Banco Bay (French Baie du Banco , rarely also Baie de Banco ) is an elongated bay of the Ébrié lagoon in the Abidjan district in Ivory Coast .
The Banco Bay separates the municipalities of Attécoubé and Plateau . To the north, the Banco River flows into the bay. The water pours through the Vridi Canal into the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean .
