Plateau is a district of Abidjan in the Ivory Coast .

Population according to the 2014 census is 7,488.

The Presidential Palace is located in Plateau. In the course of the government crisis of 2010/2011 , it was attacked by fighters from the Forces républicaines de Côte d'Ivoire with heavy weapons on the night of March 31st to April 1st, 2011 and then besieged. He caught fire and there was a large column of smoke to be seen.
