Bak Je-ga (born November 5, 1750 , † April 25, 1815 , also partially listed as Pak Je-ga ) was a Korean politician and economist of the Joseon Dynasty .
Life
He was a neo-Confucian and mercantilist philosopher and thinker. After his resignation as a member of Noronpartei ( 노론,老論 ) he was a member of the Sarim -party Buk-in ( 북인,北人 ). His nickname was Chojung ( 초정, 楚 亭 ) or Jungyu ( 정유, 貞 否 ) and Wehangdoin ( 위 항도 인, 葦 杭 道人 ).
