action

John Tresler arrives in northwest Canada ; the area is ruled by the Night Riders, whose leader is the mysterious Red Mask. Tresler falls in love with Diana, the daughter of the blind ranch owner Julian Marbolt; he also puts together a squad to hunt down the bandits. When he first met the Night Riders, he was badly wounded and Diana nursed him back to health. This has to fight off the advances of Jake Harnach, the foreman of the ranch. When he asks Marbolt for his daughter's hand, he is shot again. In the pursuit, however, he can locate the riders' refuge and put an end to the gang's hustle and bustle with the people of his troops and the North Western Mounted Police. Leader Red Mask falls into an abyss; he turns out to be Marbolt, who was only blind during the day and could see at night. Tresler buys a ranch and marries Diana.
