The Bakcell Arena , known as the 8km stadium prior to sponsor Bakcell's entry , is a stadium in Baku , Azerbaijan . It was opened in 2012 and has a capacity of 11,000 seats. The stadium was used to host the 2012 U-17 Women's World Cup and the 2016 U-17 European Football Championship .
