Baker Tilly International is a global network of 161 independent companies operating in the areas of auditing , tax , legal and business advice. The member companies organized in the association have a total of over 27,000 employees in 738 branches and are legally independent.

The member companies generate a turnover of 3.4 billion US dollars ; This makes the association the eighth largest association of its kind worldwide. It operates in a structure organized around the four regions of North America , Latin America , Europe (as well as the Middle East and Africa) and Asia-Pacific . Baker Tilly International finances itself through membership fees, the amount of which depends on the annual turnover of the respective company, as well as through license fees that are due upon admission to the association.

The company operates in 137 countries. The principle is usually that only one national law firm in one country should become a member of the association. Exceptions are Australia , New Zealand , Canada , the USA (here 23 independent societies are members of Baker Tilly USA). In Germany, Baker Tilly - trading as Baker Tilly Roelfs until March 2017, previously trading as RölfsPartner until October 2013 - is the sole representative of the network.
