The Bakilisee (also Ba Kili or Bachili) is a lake in the Ethiopian Afar region .
location
The almost round lake is one of three salt lakes in the north of the Danakil Depression next to the neighboring somewhat larger Karumsee and the Afrerasee . It is 124 m below mean sea level . The lake is on a line with the north-west Karumsee between the Erta Ale (south-east) and the Dallol (north-west).
