The Bakkesvodene ( Norwegian for hill slopes ) are high cliffs in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . They rise up in the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains on the east side of the Lunde Glacier .
Participants in the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) mapped them using surveys and aerial photographs .
