Balkan Boxing Championships 2019
The Balkan Boxing Championships 2019 ( English: Balkan Boxing Championships ) were held by the European boxing association EUBC from December 10th to 15th in the Turkish port city of Antalya . 48 male and 25 female boxers of the elite class (adults) from eleven states of the Balkan Peninsula took part in the tournament. There were 16 fights in nine weight classes for women and 40 fights in eight weight classes for men.
It is a new edition of the Balkan Championships, which have been held annually from 1947 with a few interruptions until 1990 and were provisionally continued in the Balkan Olympic Days 1997 and 2002.
