The Ball Stream is a meltwater river on the Scott coast of East Antarctica, Victoria Land . It flows 3 km west of Marble Point from the front of the Wilson Piedmont Glacier in a north-easterly direction to the Surko Stream , which it reaches immediately west of the place, where the latter flows into Arnold Cove .

The river was explored between 1957 and 1968 by the American geologist Robert Nichols (1904-1995) on behalf of the United States Navy . Nichols named him after the American soil physicist Donald G. Ball, who worked with him for the engineering service provider Metcalf & Eddy from Boston .
