Balthasar Fritsch

Balthasar Fritsch (born around 1570 in Leipzig ; died after 1608) was a German musician and composer.

Almost nothing is known about Balthasar Fritsch except his few surviving works, from which it is deduced that he studied at the University of Leipzig , played the violin and was perhaps a town piper .
