Balthasar Jenichen
Balthasar Jenichen (* before 1550; † before 1621) was a German goldsmith , engraver and publisher .
Little is known about Jenichen's life. He worked in Nuremberg between 1563 and 1592. He began his career in the workshop of Virgil Solis , after whose death in 1562 he married his widow and continued the workshop. In 1621 a document mentions that Jenichen's widow sold a number of copper tablets from his property to Senator Paul Behaim.
