Mount Crowell is a 1400 m high mountain near the Lassiter coast in Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises in the northern part of the Rare Range .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after John C. Crowell, geologist at McMurdo Station between 1966 and 1967.
