Balthen

The Balthen were the family of the Visigoth kings in the 5th century. The best-known representatives are Alaric I , who, according to tradition, was buried in the river bed of the Busento , and Alaric II , whose defeat in the Battle of Vouillé against the Franks resulted in the end of the Visigoth Empire in Gaul.
