The Bambi Molesters are a Croatian surf rock band around the two guitarists Dinko Tomljanović and Dalibor Pavičić. Influenced primarily by the garage and surf music of the 1960s, the debut work Dumb Loud Hollow Twang, released in 1997, was popular with rock critics and independent audiences.

history

The Bambi Molesters were founded in 1995 in Sisak , Croatia .

All 15 tracks of the 1997 album Dumb Loud Hollow Twang on the independent label "Dirty Old Town" were recorded in a total of three hours. Three songs from the album were used for the film Barabe ("Viba film", Slovenia).

In 1999 the band signed a record deal with the label "Dancing Bear" and released their second album Intensity! . This album was also licensed to "Kamikaze Records". The song C Alpha E can be found on the soundtrack of the film The Treat by Jonathan Gems ( Mars Attacks! ).

In December 2001 the Bambi Molesters released their third album Sonic Bullets: 13 From the Hip . The album was recorded in the Slovenian studio "RSL Production" in August 2001 and released again on the "Dancing Bear" label. The Croatian producer Edi Cukeric and Ed Brooks (RFI / CD Mastering, Seattle, USA) were responsible for production and mastering.
