Banana Cabana (original title Almost Naked Animals ) is a Canadian animated series that is produced for the broadcasters YTV and Cartoon Network . A German dubbed version was broadcast by Super RTL . The series is about half-naked animals who run a hotel.

Howie
The dog is the owner of the Banana Cabana and at the same time the main character of the series. German voice: Dirk Petrick .
Octo
The squid is Howie's best friend and shares a room with him. He is very careful and is afraid of injuring himself. He participates in almost everything Howie does.
Bunny
The rabbit, Bunny, often gets angry very quickly. She annoys a lot of things. But sometimes Howie gives her a lot of support.
Piggie
The pig is the head chef in the hotel "Banana Cabana", it speaks with a Spanish accent, so it is probably Spanish . Howie just calls it "dog things". Much like Bunny, it often gets angry.
narwhal

The Drake Duck is the stupidest figure in the hotel "Banana Cabana". He just keeps talking nonsense . But Howie and the others usually don't even notice. For example, he says, "I knew this was going to happen!"
poodle
The poodle lady Poodle is Howie's sister and hates Howie. Although her hotel is much better than the Banana Cabana, she desperately wants it so everyone will go to her.
Boris
The bat is the poodle's helper. Where there is poodle, there is also Boris. Amazingly, he is friends with the animals from the Banana Cabana.

Production and publication

The series was created by 9 Story Entertainment and directed by Brad Ferguson . The idea for the series came from Noah Z. Jones and the artistic director was Logan McNeil . The music was composed by James Chapple , Graeme Cornies , David Brian Kelly and Brian L. Pickett .

The first broadcast of the 52 episodes took place on YTV and Cartoon Network , from January 7, 2011 to May 22, 2013 in a total of three seasons. The German dubbed version was broadcast on Super RTL from November 5, 2011 , followed by several reruns by 2017. The German version was released on DVD by Polyband in 2013. The series was also released on television and on DVD in the UK.
