The Banari Glacier ( Bulgarian Ледник Банари Lednik Banari ) is a 1.75 km long and 1.15 km wide glacier on Clarence Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows from the east side of the Ravelin Ridge north - northeast of the Ortscho Glacier in a northeast direction to Smith Cove
British scientists mapped it in 1972 and 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after the town of Banari in northern Bulgaria .
