Band of Outsiders was an American guitar rock band formed in New York in the first half of the 1980s by Marc Jeffrey and Jim McCarthy (ex-The Limit) .

history

In terms of style, the group was based on Television, which also came from New York . A first LP (Up the River) was released in 1985. The band belonged to the extended circle of the so-called paisley underground and enjoyed reputation especially in Europe (France, Great Britain). There were personal and musical connections to the band Certain General with Phil Gammage. On the live LP Armistice Day - live at the CBGB in New York (1992) Nikki Sudden played as a guest on the Rolling Stones cover Child of the Moon . Shortly thereafter, the band broke up. Marc Jeffrey released the solo album Playtime in 1993 and worked with Jeremy Gluck (ex-The Barracudas) in 2009.
