Banda los Recoditos is a Mexican brass banda band .
Career
The band was formed in 1989 in Mazatlán in the Mexican state of Sinaloa in the vicinity of the Banda Sinaloense el Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga , or La Banda el Recodo for short , which has existed since 1938. The Recoditos released several albums in the 1990s. After two important members left the large group, things got quiet around the remaining members for a while, and it wasn't until 2001 that they returned with a new cast and a more relaxed, youthful style. At the Premios Oye! In 2005 they were named Newcomer of the Year for the album Si no existieras. Further successful releases in their homeland, also together with the Banda el Recodo, followed.
They had their big international breakthrough in 2010 with the album ¡Ando bien pedo! . In the USA they conquered number 1 in the respective Latin charts with both the album and the title song of the same name and were also able to place themselves on the Billboard 200 . At that time the Banda los Recoditos had 17 members.
