The Bandak is a lake in the municipalities of Tokke and Kviteseid in the Norwegian province of Vestfold og Telemark . The lake, which is also part of the Telemark Canal, is part of the Skiensvassdraget river system . The main inlet is the Tokke River , the outlet goes over the Strauman to Kviteseidvatnet .

From Dalen , the 105-kilometer Telemark Canal to Skien runs for around 27 kilometers through the fjord-like Bandak Lake. Two passenger ships, including the M / S Viktoria built in 1882 , operate daily on this route during the main season.
