Bangbros (in German "Knallbrüder") are a German DJ duo consisting of Frank Brauer ( Franky B. ) and Olaf Krügel ( Bangboy or O-Mind ), which was founded in February 2005. They call their style of music hands up .
Bangbros differs from traditional DJ acts in the form of their performances. Loud audience-related animation by the DJs is just as much a part of their show as a five-person live troupe with singers and dancers. The Bangboy accompanies most of the tracks by Bangbros with a very typical dark smoker's voice.
In September 2008 they founded their own label called Hammer Tracks.
Band history
Brauer and Krügel were already active as DJs before their first meeting . In 2005 he released his first single - vinyl , named Say Hello the label Aqualoop records.
Krügel produced his first single in 1995 and released it under the Evolver label, after which he released more and more records under various labels such as Kontor Records , Tunnel Records , Universal Music and many others. His breakthrough came in 2001 with the title I Engineer . This title shot to the top of the dance charts after a few weeks .
In February 2005, Brauer and Krügel met for the first time. According to their own statements, the single should stamp! originated from the first conversation the two of them had. A total of seven singles and three double CD albums have been released, with all singles placed in the dance charts and the single “Arschgesicht” in the German Media Control Charts.
Since then, as Bangbros , they have more than 150 gigs a year across Europe, and the discos have up to 5000 visitors in some places. Furthermore, brewers and Krügel could be seen at several major techno events.
