The Banna Peak is a 2,420 m high mountain in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range of the Transantarctic Mountains, it rises at the northwest end of the Banna Ridge ridge .
Participants in the Antarctic expedition undertaken by the New Zealand University of Waikato between 1978 and 1979 named it after "Banna", the ancient Roman name for a place in ancient Britain .
